Welcome to Quilting Jo, a full service long-arm quilting provider located in
Southeastern Massachusetts. My goal is to provide quilting services that meet or exceed your expectations and to always complete the job when promised. My studio is a pet and smoke free environment,
and I'll treat your quilt better than my own.
For great and reliable results, I use a Gammill Classic Plus long-arm quilting machine. My work is 100% hand-guided, not computer assisted.

I began quilting in 1993. And like many quilters, I began accumulating finished quilt tops, but not finished quilts. After 2 failed attempts at hand quilting, I took to machine quilting on my domestic sewing machine. It wasn’t until my 3rd machine quilting class, taught by a nationally known quilter & author, that I finally got it. I was lacking in knowledge or even skill at that point, but only in confidence! This is where I started to become involved with charity work, mostly to get practice & boost my confidence. Charities such as Project Linus & Quilts of Valor have benefited my desire to not only practice, but to give back by providing comfort that only a quilt can bring.
I then taught Machine Quilting Basics at our local quilt shop for 8 years. My goal was to share my excitement & belief that anyone could learn to machine quilt.
During the years of teaching, I purchased a new home. The location was a good compromise between close enough to work & affordable enough to be doable. And….. there was room for a long arm machine. Shortly after making the house livable, I updated the long arm studio in preparation of a machine. I’ve customer quilts for 10 years now and still love to quilt.
I still work full-time as a systems analyst & quilt part-time (nights & weekends) as I can fit it into family life.
